I will walk you through step by step everything I will be doing during your procedure as discussed in our consultation. To ensure you have the least amount of discomfort possible, I will use anesthetics to help numb the area to be treated.
The procedure may result in visible redness, some swelling, and occasional bruising. Applying ice to the area can help reduce these symptoms.
Most swelling & tenderness will disappear within 24-48 hours. There will be peeling/flaking of the skin & sloughing off of the pigment trapped in the epidermis. As the skin heals, the colors will continue to fade & lighten for the next few weeks.
At the 4-6 week mark, your healing is complete. You may return for your 2nd session to make any adjustments to color depending on how much has faded during your healing time.
Following the aftercare procedures is essential to preserving your permanent makeup.
